Wind in the Forest
In July, six villages in the forest - in the Meuse region (France) - invite international artists to take a different look at nature and create works displayed along a 45- kilometre footpath through 5.000 hectares of forest.
I had to restrain myself from moving the poles, I used to love this game - Mikado - and was quite good at it.
just too tempting...
mmm... shall I?
in this scale it just does look dangerous...
François Génot (FR) - Entrelacs 2 - 2005 - Le Vent des Forêts - #118
using the same material, this sculpture feels totally different.
where the previous one seems to want interaction and looks inviting...
this one shouts hands off!
Vincent Mauger (FR) - Le Théorème des dictateurs - 2009 - Le Vent des Forêts - #155
Still have a lot of unpublished pictures on the walk we did last year.

and did you?? touch the mikado's. i'm sure you're still good at it!
Leen
no, I did not touch them, they looked very heavy and I did not want to end up as a 'brochette'.
I haven't played the game in ages, I don't know if I'm still good at it.
