I love this kind of decay
In the quiet open space between out-of-business factories, a small temporary herb garden...
and next to it a wooden open pavillon...
it looks inviting...
benches covered in soft warm sheep skins...
the wooden structure glows with a warm light...
next to it a team is hard at work in the open kitchen...
Local Food Local Homes is a project by REcentre, a centre for sustainable design
dinners are entirely prepared with locally grown and produced food of the Meuse-Rhine Euregio
the pavillon 'Guesthouse Belvedere 2.0' is designed by Maurer United Architects
We didn't get there in time to try the food. It was the very last day of the restaurant on this spot and the place was fully booked. Next time it pops up somewhere we definetely will try it.
But we got there just in time to make a few snapshots before the first guests arrived...
