The exhibition Disturbed Silence, brought together a number of artists and artworks that dealt with issues relating to silence and perception. The works were chosen and or commissioned with specific reference to the ongoing work within the Psychiatric Centre in Duffel.
Some of the artworks are - or will be included - in the permanent collection of the Centre. Orla Barry's work is one of them.
A nice autumn day to go and see the exhibition, the colours of the park are gorgeous.
A circle of stones barely rises above the lawn.

The floor is laid out with pebbles, the dark ones were picked and gathered in Ireland. One can read 'It's nearly Winter (in the picture), It's nearly Spring, It's nearly Summer, It's nearly Autumn'.
