to the artists, designers and craftspeople who think I call their work kitsch... this is NOT the case, it refers to my own work

made in Meisenthal

In a tiny village in the north of France, a closed glass factory came back to live some years ago.  It became the 'Centre International d'Art Verrier' where international artists and designers realize new projects.

Prototypes designed by different designers :
V8 Designers - Claude Saos - Thierry Boltz - Jean-Luc Weimar - Grégoire Ruault.

The factory is famous for its handmade Christmas decorations and the workshop is steaming with activity to create new versions for the upcoming season.  Pictures are blurry as the artists are working fast.

A large hall is used for contemporary art exhibitions, unfortunately nothing happening when we visited the site.
