Contemporary art in private houses, gardens, museums and public space.
More than 40 international artists on more than 25 locations.
This tour has taken us into an abandoned schoolhouse, an empty shop (not published yet), private gardens, cellars, attics, modern and old private houses, an architect's workspace, ... and now its taking us into a flat on the eight floor of an apartment block. I love these unusual and unexpected locations, it is part of the fun and surprise next to the art work exhibited.
The whole living space is taken over by cranes.
Assembled within the tiniest details.
Almost touching the ceiling.
Set amidst the daily environment of the inhabitant of the flat.
The host-lady talks about her 'temporary lodgers' with great enthusiasm and is very well documented on the artist.
From the window one can spot real cranes towering over the city (not visible in the picture).
Roland Kappel lives in Germany and works in Atelier 5 in Mariaberg.
