Claude Rahir - dancing stones

Visiting a person in the hospital - St. Luc in Brussels Belgium - resulted in a pleasant surprise. 
In the hallway, two large murals made by late Claude Rahir. 




I saw his work for the first time only two and a half years ago during an art tour.  I was intrigued by the mix of painting and mosaic from sharp-edged stones in his work. 
A soft and peaceful part next to a threatening and dark one in a single work.

And a few months ago we came accross a public monument with the typical flowing lines.  Jodoigne - Belgium
