Just three small stonemen; every time it was just not the right time or moment to make one. For one of them we had to hurry to be back before dusk because there was a bear roaming in the neighbourhood (not a joke, we saw the fresh tracks and our landlady warned us).

I hope I get the opportunity to make a real big stoneman here, it would be my first one ever. I'm still exercising.

Colourful sculptures - Montreal

Time for a serious portion of kitsch lights. Visiting the botanical gardens at Montreal, there is an exhibition going on with Chinese silk lanterns. Somewhat overwhelming, a whole lot on a rather small space. But the child in me can marvel over the colours and very nice reflections of the light sculptures on the pond in the Chinese garden.
